Is a civil divorce the first step or can years (6) of separation be an alternative? I appreciate your work. Thank you for taking time for the shows.
Anthony – Every diocese in the United States will require a civil divorce before they will proceed with an annulment case. There has to be proof that there is no chance of reconciliation.
